Another Warming Dish for Cold Weather
Ginger Meets Sesame Meets Men Tsuyu
Tamago no Shoga Yaki 卵 の生姜 焼き
1 – 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil, like Olive or Canola
3 tab1lespoons Men Tsuyu Sauce 麺 つゆ
4 tablespoons Water
1 tablespoon grated fresh Ginger
½ teaspoon Sesame Oil
First, heat a frying pan and when it hot, add the Vegetable Oil
While the Oil in the skillet is heating, lightly beat the Eggs with a pair of chopsticks.
Pour in the Eggs, let them cook until they bubble on the edges. Stir with a wooden spoon and turn over the uncooked part so it can also cook. Shift the Eggs being cooked to one side of the skillet.
Place the Men Tsuyu sauce and grated Ginger in the other side of the skillet while the Eggs complete cooking in the other side.
When the Eggs are done, serve with the Men Tsuyu sauce on top of the Eggs.
Serve with grated Cabbage Slaw, a few plum Tomatoes and Miso Soup with Rice as a simple breakfast for two.
